Mattia Preti’s major works are Concert, c. 1630 (St. Petersburg: Hermitage Museum); The Marriage at Cana, c. 1655–60 (London: National Gallery); The Martyrdom of St. Paul, c. 1656–59 (Houston: Museum of Fine Arts);Clorinda Rescuing Sofronia and Olindo, c. 1660 (Los Angeles: J. Paul Getty Museum).
